Out before the wind picks up.

A day, loosely.

No itinerary required
06 : 30

The dam, glass-flat.

First boat out for those who ski. The water is at its calmest before nine; kneeboards and tubes wait on the jetty.

08 : 30

Breakfast, long table.

The kitchen runs on family time. Bring your own; or arrange a private cook for the stay.

11 : 00

Quiet hours — swim, read, disappear.

Pool deck or hammock. The children claim the jungle haven. Phones, somewhere else.

Jungle haven
13 : 30

A long, slow lunch.

Halaal-only kitchen. Bespoke menus on request from the resident host.

16 : 00

Second water — quieter, golden.

Late afternoon laps; a slow boat to fish; or nothing at all from the deck.

19 : 30

Fire, then cinema, then sleep.

The boma is lit by sundown. After dinner the cinema room turns the lawn into a screen. Most nights end early; the dam does that.
